Albion went ahead in the stroke of Half-Time when Lindsay Dawson scored with a low shot. Leeds made three changes for the start of the second half with Scott Cousin replacing Paul Pettinger in goal, Martin Littlewood replacing Joseph at Right Back and Paul Wharton taking over from Whitemell at Inside Left. Lindsay Dawson was involved in both of Ossett's second half goals. Scott Cousin did well to parry a shot from him, but could do nothing as Harrison scored from the rebound. Michael Hoyle replaced O'Neill at Inside Right in the sixty-fifth minute. In the seventy-fifth minute Dawson scored his second goal with another low shot. Howarth replaced Matthew Flanagan at Outside Right in the eighty-fifth minute, but Ossett had emerged as clear winners.
